Show and Tell

Going to Makaylee's first Show and Tell ever.

Makaylee was beaming with pride telling her little friends about her "baby Nyah from Africa". Of course she insisted on being the one to hold her.
Oops, Mommy steps in before Nyah gets dropped :)

Whew, she survived!

11 months old!

These two are too funny!

Happy 11 month birthday tomorrow our sweet baby :) You never cease to amaze us with your intelligence, adorableness, sweetness, and pure joy you exude. Only one more month of babyhood and then you will be a walking, talking, big girl. We are so proud of you!

Visiting Grandpa and Grandma

went to Grandpa's church and got to meet Ester, a dear friend's baby recently home from Ethiopia

playing Penguin Rescue with Grandpa and Auntie Leah

Nyah prefers Grandma to me! She dives for Grandma anytime she is near and fusses if Orin or I try to hold her. She is definately attached to my mom! Who wouldn't be- I'm kinda attached to her myself ;)

went for a walk along the Puget Sound

a storm moved in and got us wet

Oh my goodness, going to Grandpa and Grandma's house is like a 5 star resort hotel. They cook gourmet meals for us, babysit while we go out, entertain the kids with board games all day, and actually have enough beds for all of us.

We hate to leave. As we pulled away Makaylee said "Mommy, I wish Grandma lived in Oregon."

See you in October for your Harvest Carnival, Dad!

Back in Oregon for the first day of school. Makaylee is home from morning kindergarten already and had a blast! She can't wait to go back tomorrow. Marquez seems to really be enjoying homeschool and Nyah is upset that I'm not holding her all day...

I haven't had very much time to write lately but here's some pictures!
Storytime!

everyone wants to help wax the '49

Ella's thinking about going as a nun for Halloween.

Will loves watching Voltron. Does anyone remember this show? I don't but my husband loved it when he was a kid. Its just like Transformers.

We were at Lloyd Center the other day and stopped to watch the ice skaters. Now Makaylee wants to "ice skate".

Tired.

The boys LOVE Makaylee's Barbie cash register we found at a garage sale. They played with it on and off all day. They especially like swiping the fake credit cards and watching the bill go up.

Love
